Epidemiological situation on coronavirus has improved in Almaty

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports 1,732 new cases of coronavirus; the day before, 1,844 registered patients with covid were reported.

During the day, 1,732 people fell ill with COVID-19 across the country. Died - 28.

The number of cases of Сovid-19 by region:

Almaty - 234 (309 cases were reported the day before); Pavlodar region - 225; Nur-Sultan - 172 (185); North Kazakhstan region - 165; Karaganda region - 161; Akmola region - 148; Kostanay region - 131; East Kazakhstan region - 110; Almaty region - 105; West Kazakhstan region - 51; Shymkent - 44; Aktobe region - 42; Kyzylorda region - 40; Zhambyl region - 33; Turkestan region - 33; Atyrau region - 29; Mangystau region - 9.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 926,534 have been infected. 11,907 people have died.

Statistics on coronavirus pneumonia per day:

got sick - 136 people. Died - 6.

Since August 1, 2020, 78,596 have contracted coronavirus pneumonia. 4,998 have died.

50,869 people are undergoing treatment (44,687 CVI + and 6182 CVI-):

in serious condition - 631; in a state of extreme severity –162; on ventilators - 107.

The coronavirus appeared in Kazakhstan on March 13, 2020. The state of emergency was introduced in the country on March 16 by presidential decree. Since March 19, quarantine has been introduced in Nur-Sultan and Almaty. Later, the president twice, on April 14 and 27, extended the state of emergency.

The President spoke on May 11, 2020 and said that the state of emergency was ending throughout the country, but the threat of infection remained in a number of regions.

Later, Kazakhstan introduced new restrictive measures for 14 days from July 5 with the possibility of extension, and on July 13, the head of Kazakhstan announced that the quarantine was again extended until August 2. Since then, in the country, the strengthening or mitigation of quarantine has been regulated by the chief state sanitary doctors of the region, depending on the number of new infections.

On March 30, 2021, it became known that Kazakhstan entered a high-risk zone for the incidence of coronavirus, and the country's Minister of Health Alexei Tsoi emphasized that SarS-Cov-2 mutations were found throughout the country.
