Skakova proposed increasing the childcare allowance to the subsistence level and extending the payment of maternity leave to two years, since this is the optimal age for enrolling a child in a preschool institution.

In addition, the deputy proposed to develop a separate consumer basket - for children. This should include basic procurements for the full development of the child, including food, hygiene products and access to child development centers.

Deputy Yerlan Smailov proposed to conduct an audit and analysis of all support measures aimed at protecting and supporting motherhood and childhood and assessing their effectiveness.

Among other things, he proposed introducing maternity capital in the form of state payments to Kazakhstanis for the birth of each child. Amount - 4.2 million KZT With this money, according to Smailov, parents will be able to spend on the procurement of housing and improving the living conditions of the family, the education of the child, and the mother's pension savings.
